Technology advancements in paint products has allowed the use of colour clad glass to expand into Residential projects. Initially the domain of high end Commercial applications the product no adorns area's in Kitchen's, Bathrooms and Office fit outs.
Essentially colour coated glass comes in 3 types

METALLIC
MIRRORKOTE
Paint is applied to both "float" and "low iron" glass depending on colour. The natural colour of normal float glass has a green tinge which does effect some lighter colours.
